Challenge:

The company AuctionOffer, Inc. for which we developed an auction platform 1ClickOffer.com was in need of the company's site. The client planned to create a site on the base of flash template. Design and multiple visual animation effects created a look, necessary for our client. In the result of a preliminary discussion of the project, the following requests were formulated:

The site should contain the specified static content.
The site should posses a search functionality in the base of the 1ClickOffer site listings base.
The site should posses a restricted CMS functionality (modeling content for the sections Press and Training Classes).

Solution

In the process of a preliminary task analysis it was found out that the site implementation on ASP.NET will be more suitable for the Client's needs, as the flash site has problems with indexing by search systems. Besides the design and support of ASP.NET variant of this site will be more effective. That is why the implementation of all visual effects was fulfilled on HTML/JavaScript, and the site was created on ASP.NET 2.0.
